Many people approach me wanting to know how I do it. How is the wild mushroom tamed? This is your chance to find out. The following classes are designed to deliver relevant information quickly, with tested teaching methods to facilitate retention.
I offer all my classes in two formats: classroom and one-on-one. The classroom format are classes on a fixed schedule, and we meet as a group in a classroom. The price is reduced as my time is spread over several students.
My one-on-one format allows students to learn around their schedule and areas of interest. We can meet whenever and wherever (ideally in the field), and 100% of my attention is focused on your understanding.

This class will include a quick overview of:

I've chosen 30 prominent mushroom groups that everyone can learn to help them on their way to safe mushroom hunting. We will look at their telling characteristics, learn some latin, and note common, edible, medicinal and poisonous members of each. These classes will appeal to beginners and seasoned foragers alike. Just when you think you've met all the good ones, there are more! We focus on six genera in each two-hour session. Learn them all or join us for the ones you need to brush up on. (The names in parentheses will get an honorable mention:)
